Can anyone recommend a good product for the face of dry post menopausal women?
dianne s asked:
I am 47. My skin is really taking a beating from this menopause.
I am not taking hormone therapy.
My face is dry and getting like leathery. I am fair skin.

Welcome to my club!! Let me try to help you, go to Walgreens and buy a bottle of 100% pure vetable glycerine
the namebrand is AFROCARE, and is in the shelf with the face lotions, and had the same problem and by mistake I discover this wondeful “thing”, it will practicly “cure your dry skin”. Glycerine us the base for lotions, it is the carrier for all the vaitamins and minerals they use in the lotions.
Pure vitamine E for the face, or if you want to invest some good money… go to a department store and find a face cream for mature skin. Olay Definity or L’Oreal Age Perfect works good, and you can find that anywhere. Find a good face wash that will not dry out your skin, never use plain soap.
I buy the Vit.C/E caps. I squeeze it out and apply it my face. Works better than all the expensive stuff I purchaced so far. And I take Fish oil twice a week and Flaxseed caps. My skin doesn’t seem to have created anymore cracks and crevices over the last year. I’m 49. And for awhile there, I thought my only hope was a tube of Bondo or Spackle! ha!
