what’s prescribed for menstrual bleeding that won’t stop?

I was prescribed PROMETRIUM to stop bleeding. I looked it up, I read it’s used to start your mentstrual after not having it for a long period of time. It is also for postmenapausal women on hormone therapy. I would like more information about prometrium and If there is a drug that’s used to stop the bleeding?

    estrogen is typically the drug of choice for this.

    I’m not sure how much help i can be here and im not too sure i understand your situation, it sounds complicated and if i may, a bit odd. but im hopeful that i can be of some help. I’m a transgender male, i used to be a femal and i am in the process of becoming a male(just two months shy). When i was 13 i first had my period and from that moment on i knew i wanted to be a man. I had a lack of parental guidance as both my parents worked days and nights. I tried many unsafe methods of getting my insides to stop bleeding( no one had “the talk with me”) Now this might sound ridi o culous but it actually worked. What i did was i took the plastic wrap off of Jimmy Deam breakfast sandwiches and id sniff the plastic over and over (sounds extremely strange but it all started as a nervous habbit) and eventually i would bleed less and less each month until i stopped menstrating.
