For Women: Does anyone use a diaphram?

clickynicki asked:

I’m nursing and don’t want to use any hormone therapy for birth control. I’ve heard of some that are supposedly safe, but I’m set on not useing any hormones untile my baby stops nursing. I want to know what happens when you go to your gynacologist about getting a diaphram. I heard they have to fit you, is that true, and what do they do? Are they a hassle to use? Are they safe? Are they a hassle? Are they prescription?

I would say there are 1 to 2 clients using a diaphram per pharmacy. They do come in different sizes and you will place a diaphram inside and replace it every month.
