motogirl asked:
I kind of got left out to fend for myself, the woman Dr. went on a Holiday after I was released. I don’t trust Dr.s anymore. I need some answers.

Just depends on the Doc. when my mother had her done in the 80’s she was placed on hormone’s. She’s been on for so long her doc fears what it will happen if he takes her off of them. Such as bone loss, heart problems or rebound depression.. I’ve had other family members who have had them done in last 5 years or so and they where tapered of them. there are risks either way. Talk to an OBGYN that you trust or talk to few of them.
headin for forty had hystorectomy ten years ago and havrnt needed any hrt and had no problems what so eer best days work i ever did dont just assume that you will need hrt cos it aint always the case
There are alot of variables to this question. You mention hysterectomy but don’t mention if your tubes and ovaries were removed. Hysterectomy means removal of the uterus. HRT, hormone replacement therapy will wait until this physician returns from holiday. Since this was an emergency operation I doubt that you will need them, I am guessing that your ovaries were left in place. There would be no use for estrogen if your ovaries are in place and you have not yet experience menapause.
Call and make a Drs. appointment for when your Dr. returns, you should have a 6 week after surgery checkup anyway.
i had a hysterectomy two years ago. hysterectomy meaning the removal of uterus, tubes, ovaries.and cervix! i dont take any hormone therapy and feel better than i ever have in my life.
I had a hystorectomy that took everything even my cervix.
I refused. hormone therapy pills. but there is a natural cream, that is inserted in the viginia that is perfectly safe. after I think 3 years the hot flashes are gone but I am still having trouble with the dryness and the cream helps. not many dr’s know about it. It has to be made in a pharmacy. And it is all natural. your body will reject any of it that it doens’t need.
See a doctor and get some hormones. They will save you some miserable days and nights. You need them.
Good luck. Pops
See your question, it is full of allopathy terms and you don’t trust doctors!? Trust allopathy for allopathy-problems, is there any alternative? My advice is not to waste time on yahoo, go and consult few lady doctors of health-care.
On the other hand, if you like my way, I myself always believe that nature and natural life is perfectly appropriate for us as it is fundamentally created by natural phenomena and laws and that nothing is more efficacious than this. I hope, I have tried my best to help you. Wish you recover soon. That is all I have in my capacity. Sorry! no more.
i use natural hormones. Reading Suzanne summers book. be careful. depends on your age too. hysterectomy throws you into premature menopause, research. i don’t like hormones increases your chances of cancer dramatically
